Renuvion (J-Plasma)
Dr. Hanabergh is the #1 doctor in South Florida with the most Renuvion J-Plasma procedures performed.
J-plasma is an advanced technology that allows a retraction of up to 65% in the worked skin, improving flaccidity in areas such as abdomen, arms, legs, face, neck and double chin. This new technology uses cold helium to produce energy, achieving a kind of beam called plasma, allowing a greater concentration of energy, precision in the treated area and contraction of the skin. Long-term stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, essential for tissue regeneration and skin tightening.
This technology for areas where there is a higher concentration of adipose tissue, is used in conjunction with laser liposculpture to achieve better results.
Am I a candidate for J Plasma?
Anyone with mild to moderate sagging in areas such as the abdomen, back, arms, legs, face, neck, and jowls is a good candidate for J PLASMA.
How is the J Plasma procedure performed?
The J PLASMA can be performed under local anesthesia, epidural plus sedation, general or combined anesthesia (more general epidural) depending on the area to be treated. The type of anesthesia is defined with the anesthesiologist during a pre-surgical consultation. Before the surgery, the areas to be worked are marked and through minimal incisions in the skin a solution is introduced that prepares the area where the adipose tissue, also called fat, is located. The fat removal is initially carried out to later pass the J PLASMA that will improve the flaccidity in the area.
How is the recovery after J Plasma?
With this technique the recovery time will depend on each patient but it can be only days. Recovery time also varies according to the area treated and how the patient feels from day to day. For a better evolution, I recommend at least 10 post-surgical massage sessions.
